  • Oooh just noticed I got a star and newbie sign is gone!

Well I got paid yesterday and have made debt repayments and put another €50 in the emergency fund. I am going to try and have as many NSD's as possible til the next payday.

I have also spent the morning decluttering a bit and have a few things to list on ebay so just need to take pics, weigh stuff and get it listed. I haven't sold on ebay before so lets see how that goes!

DD is gone to her dads so the house is so quiet, making the most of it though.

    Off to update my signature!

  • Good afternoon DFW's, hope you are all having a nice Sunday!

Yesterday was another NSD! :D Today won't be though as I am heading to Aldi to do some grocery shopping now, I am going to stock up on everything so I don't have to buy lunches, etc and hopefully avoid the shops all week. I am going to make some home-made soup and hopefully some brown bread if I have time later.

I finally managed to start listing items on ebay, I have 12 items listed and will put some more up later this evening, just have to take the photos from my phone onto the laptop.

Evening DFW's, I can't believe the weekend is nearly over, they just go too fast.

I had a nice day today, spent time catching up with a good friend, got all my grocery shopping done and came home to a clean tidy house as DD is gone to her dads. I am really missing her a lot now though, she is gone until Wednesday, it feels so weird to be in an empty house :(

I got all my grocery shopping done so cupboards and fridge/freezer are well stocked up. And hopefully that means I will not be near a shop this week, I have homemade soup on the hob which will do me most of the week for lunch. So my only spend this week should be petrol. I listed more items on ebay this evening too, so thats 30 items listed this week - they are all old CD's, DVD's and DS games so not sure if they'll sell but had to give it a go. I have literally 100's of stuff like this just sitting there unused.

I am going to make a cuppa and watch the very last episode of True Detective now!

Happy Monday DFW's, hope you all have a lovely day!

Just checked eBay and I have one bid on a DS Game :T, its only 0.99 but I'm so excited (isn't that sad?). And a few other items have watchers, so we'll see what happens there. It just shows that junk you have lying around will sell, one mans junk, another man's treasure and all that jazz. If (and I know thats a huge if cos doubt they would all sell) but if I sold every item for 0.99 I would have a nice little chunk to pay off debt as I literally have hundreds of CD's, DVD's, Wii and DS games just sitting there un-used. I also have a few fab Monsoon dresses to sell, I will have to take photos and get those listed too.

And I came into work this morning and my Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover book has arrived, I want to read it now! DD is still away so will have a good look at it tonight after work.

I have homemade soup and homemade bread for lunch, feeling so proud of myself. I filled car with petrol this morning so I should be able to avoid the shops all this week (possibly have to buy milk but that's all!)

I am feeling super positive about this debt busting game, onwards & downwards! :j

    Hi DFW's!

Not much really to report today, I had an almost NSD yesterday (except planned petrol fill which was in my budget), I am going to aim for as many NSD's as possible this fortnight (I get paid fortnightly). I didn't get a chance to read Dave Ramsey book last night so will have a look at it later today. I have a few more watchers on some items I put up on ebay so hopefully there might be a bidding frenzy at the weekend :)

Hope you all have a lovely day :D

    Morning DFW's,

The sun is shining again in Dublin this morning, we are having a lovely week which is great with the kids being off school for Easter break. DD is still in her dads house and is having a great time, she has decided to stay until Thursday evening now. I miss her but I am delighted she is having a good time.

I checked eBay this morning and 4 items have bids now, and the same items all have at least 4 watchers each, I'm hoping there will be a bidding frenzy on Sunday!

I had a NSD day again yesterday, I think NSD's are easier without DD around lol.

Right better get back to work, hope you all have a great day today :D
