I see you are just hear to make a point about a person living in England that isn't English, please keep your opinions off my thread. Have you never held a friends hand to help them through a matter they have never delt with before?

I would moan if I had to do another round trip if it was my matter and a department were unable to do there job correctly and lost my details meaning I had to attend again.

Ps If you would like me to comment on your bankruptcy thread .....just let me know, I can give you some advice how to manage your money correctly in the future

When I help my friends I do more than hold their hand - I offer sensible, practical suggestions. You however, have really taken against a simple suggestion. Strange.

In respect of my other thread, you can comment on whatever you like, my dear. I am not as sensitive as you :)

You need to be clear that it's not a council tax issue, it's a council tax reduction issue (formerly council tax benefit) which is a different situation completely.

    Thanks for the terms

It was her first time and the property's first time for being liable to council tax along with applying for a council tax reduction.

Thanks I will as I started a thread.

She didn't need any suggestions, she needed a lift to get to the council building as there's no bus service, she needed internet access as she doesn't have it and there is no library service where she could access it where she lives.

I don't think I'm being sensitive, I just don't think your posts have anything to do with the service that was given, take out all the words about friend and insert my name. The point in the opening thread is just the same.

The suggestion of English lessons is a good one, how does she ever expect to become self sufficient with limited language skills and seemingly living in the middle of nowhere? My advice would be the same to someone that has lived here all their lives.

Your comment about Lioness's bankruptcy is downright nasty - shame on you.

Sorry if I've missed something but I can't really see why you didn't just let her use your internet access and do it for herself.

I haven't posted a thread asking should people have English lessons who come to this country.

She has been self sufficient in her 10 years of being here, living in the middle of nowhere is called living in a village in the countryside.

Edit I can't see what is wrong with my comment about bankruptcy I asked if they wanted help managing their finances in future as they hadn't managed them in the past? Wow seem to have touched a nerve with that one.

Because they still need to see ID and NI card so a trip was needed, I had thought that one trip would sort all the relevant details needed.

The comment was a constructive one, there was no need to become quite so rude.

I see there is still no apology for your bankruptcy comment - it was quite clear you were making a nasty dig. Such a shame when people resort to such low comments, it says a great deal more about you than the former BR :(

    It's a private rental

Thanks I might write but don't think it will do much good.

Just really needed to get it off my chest. I know there's staff cut backs etc but still feel this falls well below par in terms of procedure.

It might not do much good for your friend, but if nobody complains then how do they know it needs improving.
