Could anybody recommend some good reading for S&S ISAs please? I haven't had one before but really keen to learn about them.0

An S&S ISA is nothing more than a tax wrapper for investments. There are literally thousands of funds and shares you can invest in, so you need to start by creating a portfolio that suits your risk profile. If all this means nothing, have a look at this thread for some education material: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4752194Could anybody recommend some good reading for S&S ISAs please? I've just opened a HSBC Loyalty Cash ISA. The rate isn't great, but I'm currently paying off debt, so will only be placing small amounts in there for the next 6 months or so.
Am interested in learning about investments, and have got a few books waiting to be read on the subject, but am currently writing a dissertation, so my head might explode if I decide to start exploring investments right now.

Have you tried making a pizza whilst thinking about investments?

Hmmm, I have been considering moving the money in my 2 current cash ISA accounts to a single S&S ISA account (have roughly 3.6k in each) I also have another 5k to add as well. Is this a sound idea seeing as no one is getting !!!!!! all for their cash ISA's anymore......guess I'm going to have to do some reading on the S&S0

The general advice is to keep at least three, and preferably six, months worth of living expenses in cash at the best available rates and then consider S&S ISA's.
The last thing you want is to put your £12,200 into an S&S ISA, markets to half, and you to run into an emergency. You'd be forced to liquidate your S&S ISA at what could be the market low.0 -
I would normally whack the full ISA allocation into a S&S ISA, but what with the markets looking somewhat over-cooked now, and with the increased allocation limit, I'm going to change my approach this year.
I'm probably going to put £5K into the Santander 123 ISA @ 2.3%, and drip feed the remaining £10K of the money into a S&S ISA, so as to control my urge to invest too much too soon into the market, before any correction might play out.0
