Hi,
We are presently with Plusnet for our Boradband but with BT for our telephone line. We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 primary school children. At the moment we are finding that with our broadband package we are hitting the 13GB allowance the package offers regularly a few days before the end of the monthly period. This costs £22 per month.
We don't have any complaints about the service offered, in fact we are very pleased with it. We use the internet for a whole range of things frrom "catch-up tv" to "online gamng", the whole gammut on offer. I wondered whether anyone had any recommendations on other packages and providers which we could follow up?
Many thanks for your advice in advance.

I pay PN £22 a month for 38 MB fibre optic no cap .0 -
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately we live in a valley without cable access... we don't even have mains gas. But I will be checking the PN packages and calling them to see what they can offer, but still keeping all options open.0 -
You don't need cable for FTTC-cable is for VM cable only.
Do you have FTTC available?
You are on an obsolete tariff. All the current PN tariffs except Essentials offer unlimited bandwidth, so you could just upgrade.
But start with an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com for your available LLU providers. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I can't see any uncapped 38meg deals, they're all 40gig limit.
Can you supply a link, or tell me how to get it?
According to plusnet, my line is only capable of 20 Meg fibre, so I don't want or need the 76 Meg.Andy
The older I get, the better I was...0 -
I signed up nearly a year ago.
Plusnet Unlimited Fibre (Without Phone)0 -
I have PN FTTC for Broadband, line rental and all calls 24/7 and 40 GB limit. I have never paid more than £23 a month. They also allow you to pay 12 month's line rental in advance at a hefty discount.
That package is Plusnet Value Fibre, via FTTC (Fibre To The Cabinet, not To The Home.)I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

Take a look on plusnets website, see what deals they have for new customers and then ring them stating you want the same deals. That's exactly what I did and I pay a grand total of £19.48 a month which includes unlimited BB, line rental(line rental saver) and anytime calls included.
I then proceeded to do exactly the same for my parents after getting them to authorise me for their account.2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0
