Help! Stuck with VirginMedia Broadband only?

Morning,

can anyone help please? I've been with Virginmedia for 5 years and have no landline, paying 26£ a month.

I'm sure there's better deal out there as 26£ seem pretty excessive to me, however my understanding is that Virginmedia is the only company offering Broadband with no need for a landline, is that correct?

Every time I look things up I come to the conclusion that switching, and getting a landline, is going to cost me more, but it's very confusing and I might be wrong....

Any suggestion? Thank you!

VM use their own supply line .
Other providers use BT supply line and a rental is charged .
But their are packages available .

But given the way VM discount the bundles, you don't save that much by not having a landline.
Correct, a BT-based line is required for any ADSL or FTTC broadband service.
