If you're wanting to give this a go, open yourself a Gmail account and download/install G-Drive. Does the same thing but for Google Mail. As there are plenty of people doing this, it appears it's OK.

FWIW I've been trying out quite a few online backup solutions recently.

You do have to be prepared to wait for this however, to upload 13Gb at UK standard broadband upload speeds of 448 would take several days non-stop.

Still far easier to back up to a dvd or four in an hour or so. Especially if you need to get all the data BACK again, you have to download 13Gb!

What has freedom of speech got to do with it? You're posting on a privately owned board with it's own laid down rules of conduct which you aren't adhering to. I think it says it all that in reminding you of the forum rules about being nice to other members which you agreed to in signing up on this forum you interpret as stomping on your civil liberties. Sorry if it sounds a bit ambigous but it was a genuine thank you, your post was helpful it just reminded me that the best way to start any research is to use a search engine like google.

I really dont know what your problem is Conor, but I and many other "decent" posters on this forum, can tell you that Superscraper has always been very informative with all his posts, fair and very reliable, above all, polite and honest. If anyone out there needs proof of this, all they need do is check his post history. Which is more than can be said for you.
