I have a 35.9% card from Luma but it pays 4% cashback (up to £9 a month) so I'm well happy with it seeing as I pay off in full every month anyway.

It would just be a nice feeling to know that 'prime' options are available.

I have two defaults dropping off in Feb and March next year, and a final arrangement to pay marker dropping off in July next year. I have been trying to convince Halifax to swap the arrangement for a default so that it drops off in February instead, but they've so far ignored me completely.
    What will your verse be?

Well done! I have in the past had to work to improve my credit, the last time I looked at experian it was 964 and it was somewhere in the 500s for quite some time so I too can relate to the good feeling you get when you have tidied up the finances and you begin to see the results.

Ignore all the misaerable people on here, they seem bitter about something but you don't seem to be getting too bothered about it, good for you!

This isn't related to credit cards, but so strongly matches the theme of the thread I thought I'd post here.

I've now got current accounts with Nationwide and First Direct (the latter of which I understand are picky about who they take on as customers), both of who have rejected me in the past.. so I think I'm getting there too :D

A year from now my defaults will be gone and I should have a blemish free record :D
