Thanks for all the replies & for the link but it isn't boots who have banned me from shopping with them.
It's an online only company, so I am unable to take my returns to the store. I have sent an email to the company because I am unable to access my account. I had a reply with a link to say that a manager will call me sometime next week, with regards as to how I can make my returns. The person who replied said that she can't see why that decision has been concluded and will ask the manager to look at my account again, before telephoning me.

I was in shock when I was informed that my custom wasn't welcome, but I'm over it now. I know money is tight for us, but there is alot of other stores that have regular sales.
I had a look at the link that was posted in this thread, and I can see that the OP purchased mainly sales & glitches, and several quantities, therefore I can see why they perhaps thought that the OP was a trader.
I did purchase a total of 27 items in the sale and only 2 were the same items (2 fathers day presents).
On a completely different topic here but I'm not even sure why people would bother to pay things in the sale, to then sell on Ebay. After Ebay Listing fee's, Final value fee's, Paypal Fee's, Postage & packaging, I can't see how profit can be made.

They probably sell on at car boots etc.

A couple of years ago, I purchased some DVD box sets of an American TV series from Amazon uk.
I watched these then put them up for auction on ebay and even though they were listed as used, they still sold for more than new and sealed sets were being sold by Amazon.

Never underestimate the "It's on ebay, it must be a bargain" mindset that an awful lot of people still have.

Lots of shops have a bulk buy policy.

In Tesco your allowed 6 sale items or 12 none sale items or are considered a trade buyer. Not always enforced.

But based on what you bought, i would say they we being a bit over zealous - if they weren't all the same items.

Ive had orders cancelled by Littlewoods, Boots and a few others though - so its not uncommon. And like pubs - they can serve who they want. They didn't close my accounts though.

I've had orders from Boots cancelled for the same reason, but they did not lock my account
