Can you do that?
We have loads of BA Avios as we used to do Manchester to Tampa, via Gatwick three times a year when DS lived there. I was surprised to find BA has stopped the Gatwick shuttle, when we were planning a Croatia trip.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

Nice, I think is a popular route, especially around this time of year, so availability of reward saver flights could be limited.
I was looking at going to Nice, but there were flights to Marseille instead, which were available, so we're staying there instead. We're still going to visit Nice for a day, by taking the train there.
Did book only a couple of weeks ago, which probably explains the availability, but I suspect May/June is going to be popular anyway.
If you have enough points, unless you're already doing so, look at going by Club Europe (business class), as there could be greater availability.
PS. BA flights from Marseille currently leave from (Heathrow) Terminal 1, while flights from Manchester arrive at Terminal 5, so you'll have to transfer at Heathrow.0 -
What, move the Avios or book Monarch?pollypenny wrote: »Can you do that?
I've never booked Monarch but I have moved Avios. Log in at ba.com and find the link 'Combine my Avios'. All will be revealed.
This assumes that you have an avios.com account. If not, it's easy to open one.0 -
I checked Dalaman from Manchester. 20k avios rtn + £35 taxes + £2.50 ATOL protection.
They do charge extra for luggage though, so as been previously mentioned, you need to phone up to get it removed if you dont want to pay for it. You do get 10kg hand luggage free though.
Of course, with BA RFS, you do get 23kg hold luggage + fed and watered.
I would probably just pick from the LHR destinations or maybe take the train to Gatwick?0 -

Just paid £55.00 and 60,000 avios for a return flight to Moscow from Newcastle on a BA reward flight saver
The LHR-DME-LHR sectors are in First.
Could have probably used the same avios for upgrades which may have been better value, but I had a few to burn and I was happy with the 'offer'.0 -
The food and champers will cover the £55 no problemo0
