I suffer with severe anxiety/health anxiety/panic attacks and agoraphobia and have been called three times for a medical (the third being next Tuesday). My gp has written many letters stating how frightened I get when travelling and have asked for a home assessment but they won't have none of it. My money was stopped on both occasions and I had to live off my elderly parents for months on end. I'm actually going to attend the med on Tuesday as I will still be able to claim esa whilst I'm appealing against their decision, which will inevitably be 'fit for work' as I managed to travel there so I must be ok! You can't win either way!
