small mp3 player to take running???

Hey,

Im looking for a small mp3 player that I can use for jogging with, ive got a 30gb ipod but it is not suitable for running with (too big). Im looking for a small/lightweight/cheap mp3 player that can hold atleast 2 albums worth of songs, anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

What about one of those mini ipod's that you can clip on? Not the cheapest but you'll already have all your songs on itunes for it

I thought about one of them, but the idea of spending £40 on something like that put me off. I really dont want to spend any more than around £20.

Ah right, don't know much about any of the cheaper ones then, sorry. Am sure someone else will know if there's any worth getting

something like this will hold half a dozen albums at decent quality, and cos it's flash won't ever skip when you're jogging. all you need if you already have an iPod :)

I have recently bought a Creative Zen Stone, its about £25 its 1gb (250 tracks). half the price of the ipod version.

I use it running and its perfect:

    its light
it doesn't require Itunes just copy the files over like a usb pen (No Software)
It charges up of the usb cable (no battery cost!)
It doesn't have a clip but you can get an elastic strap
The sound quality is better than the Ipod but you need to buy a better set of headphones!

    Hope this helps!

I got a MP3 player off eBay for about £10. It holds between 45 and 50 tracks (depending on length/quality) and is small enough for me to stick in a pocket when I go running. It's about the size of a cigarette lighter (not PC, I know) and takes a single AAA battery which lasts about 8 hours unless I turn the volume up full in which case it lasts about 5.

No strap but the headphones came with a loop so you can hang it round your neck (but I found that very annoying!).
