UKPC Parking Charge

Hello,
I live in a block of flats with a private car park, which changed to UKPC management on the 1st to avoid unauthorised parking. My landlord sent over a permit to display, which is displayed in my windscreen. My partner found the yellow sticky thing from them on the first day, which states "No parking in front of the garages". As far as I am aware, I was not, as shown in these pictures (I am not allowed to post links yet):
These ones show my parking

This is the whole parking section

The last picture shows the red sign right at the end, which I assumed was for the bit directly in front of the garage.
I am not going to pay the fine, especially after reading all the posts about UKPC. I was going to ignore it, until I found this forum saying that the rules have changed. Any advice?
Thank you all in advance,
Alex

UKPC infest a block in which I own a flat. I am petitioning the HA which own the head lease to kick them out. If you read some of my recent posts, you will get an overview of the problem.
However, as a tenant you are probably better off to appeal to POPLA.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Hi and welcome
Yes you're right don't ignore it - appeal it Usually only after waiting for the a Notice to Keeper to arrive and as the registered keeper but see the thread below for all the information you need

and take a look at the flow chart for a route map of what you need to do (scroll down to end of thread for most up to date version)

Typical of the scams that these useless jokers get up to, totally inadequate signage.
If they don't want you to park there they should put up signs to say don't park here.
If they were actually managing car parking they would put a friendly notice on you car being their first day politely asking you not to park here in future.
And what exactly does "in front of the garages " mean?
One meter away, five meters away, they just make up the rules as they go along, and some knuckle dragging attendant is hoping he has made his little bit of bonus at your expense.
Follow the advice of the regulars on here and tell them where to stick their silly invoice.0 -
It's not a fine - like all other UKPC cases, wait for the NTK and in the meantime read the NEWBIES sticky thread and search for other UKPC threads using the 'search this forum' heading above the sticky, next to 'forum tools'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
