Thanks everyone. The software that I used for the practising didn't have the anti-cheat software installed. I assumed clicking in a pattern for the whole clip or for a long section of the clip will activate the anti-cheat software.

Hopefully I'll pass this time. Fingers crossed
  • Perhaps the multiple failures are nature's way of telling you that that the rest of us would be better off if you refrained from using the roads ?

Either you are not ready or you shouldn't be driving.

Or it could be that the test is almost meaningless in terms of observing hazards.

I didn't have to do one for my test but, 20 something years later, I got a disk and sat a few while teaching my partner to drive. She had no problem but I kept clicking early.

On one clip I managed to score ZERO points, while correctly identifying every hazard they were looking for. Every single one was clicked up to a full second (most around 1/2 second) before they "allowed" you to identify it because the signs were there long before they expected a new driver to recognise them.

Some new drivers do have naturally excellent anticipation skills, and they can easily fall foul of that flaw in the test. Seeing as we don't know the OP,or his driving ability, assuming that he's just crap, when he could just be way ahead of the game, is unwarranted and unhelpful!

Op, it really is worth the cost of getting one of the disks that lets you practice and then see where you clicked compared to the official timings - that will let you know if you're missing thiings or being too late or too early :)

Just had a go on the online ones. Took 4 goes to pass. One of the online ones had a graph available afterwards showing where the hazard occured and where I clicked. At that point I twigged that some of the videos only had 1 hazard in, whilst others had 2.

I guess 28 years of accident-free driving has taught me to spot hazards that they don't consider to be.

only click when the hazard become evident. If you click before you will be penalised. Otherwise you may as well just keep clicking.
That's not a good idea. If you click too many times you will score 0. I managed to do that on mine for one clip.
