At that time, even then it wasDotcom who put voluntary restrictions in place. I question what on earth were the regulators PRA/FCA doing to let it drag on untll May of this year.
It might seem that way, but I reckon that they were persuaded.
Also it was the Directors who finally applied to be placed in administration not the regulators putting them in administration!
Again, they have probably been persuaded.
Also the report mentions that the auditors had difficulty reconciling records of individual deposits with the totals held. Heaven knows how complete will the membership details be that are passed to FSCS. Judging from past posts it appeared that some members received communications whilst others didn't.
I'm not surprised at all by that. Their website was shambolic with members here having to put them right about certain aspects/spelling/ambiguity contained within their terms and conditions. If that methodology was repeated in their in-house accounting procedures then it's easy to see how they have gotten into one almighty mess.

Any update as of yet?. I've been in Canada for the past 10days or so. I left with restrictions still in place.
Judging by the last page or 2, they've applied to go into Administration?. Is it May 18th we're waiting for now?0 -

Just a brief thought.
This seems to have been the longest 10 working days I have ever experienced! Any one agree ?
Of course really we have been in" limbo" since December, it has been a long haul, and I think even with FSCS protection I will be sticking with the more established organisations in future.
Role on Monday, will they be placed in Administration then,? for me the jury is still out.0 -
It'll be a miracle if they're not in Administration come Monday.
Hope you are right, but after all the cxxp we have previously been told by DotCom, their statement regarding administration together with the use of the word" anticipated" leaves me less than 100% certain.
However I am hanging my hopes on the statement by the FSCS.0 -

Same here. I assume that means we won't get the option of keeping the account until maturity.0 -
