Wondered if anybody can offer me any help. About 4 weeks ago I received a bunch of Electricity bills from British Gas for a company set up in my name over six years ago. I have no knowledge or involvement in this company and phoned their customer service department to be told someone would call me and ask various questions to try and sort this matter. No call back so I called them again told the same thing again with the same result, phoned a third and fourth time same outcome until Monday when I received a final reminder before legal action next week. I have since found out that the tenant using my name has not paid any of his/ her bill for six years and they are chasing me for a few pence short of £19,500.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If you have any legal assistance included with your house insurance then giving them a call wouldn't be a bad idea.0
