This company should be put into liquidation, pure and simple![/QUOTE]
OH MY - WE ARE AT THE START OF THE WREN JOURNEY..
Not looking hopeful to get resolution, from what others have said here. I have rarely dealt with a company that values their customers as little as they do... we only spent £8k on our kitchen but we are still without a completed fitted kitchen and continue to wash our dishes in the bath weeks later and no sign of resolution.
I am sorry we chose them and hope others will chose more wisely... TrustPilot have lots of 5 Star reviews ... they now have a 1 star review from me and more to come I should think...0 -
HI ,
i worked in Wren Kitchens for many years , throughout the years i have seen many incidents where customers been neglected , ignored , left alone with incomplete kitchens . First of all due to the enormous pressure coming through from the company directors and regional managers to drive the sales on a daily and weekly basis store managers and designers are forced to Sell the Kitchens by lying to customers , for instance , at Wren , if you inquire about when will be the sale ending ? , there answer would be sale is finishing today if you need to secure the deal before the price increase’s you will have to place a 10% deposit before 8 p.m. tonight .
There whole sales plan is based on forcing the customers to put up a initial deposit of 10% , the most major problematic area is the Kitchen designers since most of them are not well trained and some of them haven’t got any clue of fundamentals of designing a kitchen or some of them even doesn’t know how to measure up a room . in 2014 November wren employed number of staff from a former telecommunication company called Phones4U after they went bust . Which means at the moment you will find these inexperienced staff members as store managers / Kitchen designers which takes your hard earned money even though they are not well trained and making catastrophic mistakes when they are planning kitchens .
Next problematic area is the customer service , Wren made a huge structural change in the Beginning of 2015 by implementing a centralized customer service programme which called Claims assessments Team , Which is a absolute JOKE !! , if you having a issue with your kitchen due to a missing part or damaged items / refunds you will have to go through the above mentioned help line . however people whom employed in this particular department doesn’t have any knowledge of the kitchens or bedrooms , if your query is complicated and if they cannot resolve it they will put you on hold and speak to the designer in the store and even if they cannot come up with any answers ,as a customer you’re in trouble because it will take many weeks for Wren to resolve your issue .
On top of that if you purchased a kitchen with installation it will be the worse nightmare you ever going to come across since Wren outsource there installation service for third party carpenters even though they are contracted by Wren most of them are not professional . some of them fail to do check measures , poor workmanship , lac of communication etc . so if your planning to purchase a kitchen from Wren please get your own Builder rather than hiring these cowboys !!
However I have to admit that the Quality of the Wren Kitchen cabinets are far better than the other manufactures but however if your making a purchase from wren please ensure you go ahead with a senior designer in there showrooms , ask them before you sit down to commence the design ,
How long you have been working as a Kitchen Designer ?
Are you from Phones4U ?
Furthermore when your designer begin your design , if you see him struggling or asking other colleagues to hep him out this is an indication of a inexperience , change the designers asap before your kitchen project become a disaster !!
I Hope the above information will be helpful for you to make a wise decision when purchasing a kitchen .0 -

I believe everything you have said because as pretty much all have happened to us. We are a young couple who had saved up for our dream kitchen. Went to wren for the design they pull on all the trick you decribed to get us to sign also added product to our purchase we didn't ask for, measured it wrong, which has cost us a lot of money on labour and fix's. Sale's guy Patrick from Gloucester branch was no help at all. Didnt ring back when he said he would, we have had to chase him at every turn. Also he has no knowledge of his produce and no idea of how to help us. Also tried to blame us for his mistake. Head office customer service wouldn't talk to me as they said I was not no the account as my husband was but I am the name on the credit agreement and we bought the kitchen together at the same time. Still dealing with the problems and cost with my wren kitchen. :mad:0
