Who told you that Ford uses the VW DSG box?
As far as i am aware the Powershift box as fitted to Volvos and Fords is pretty reliable.

We use a cab company similar to Addison Lee in London daily, and the drivers said the newer Galaxys have a vw box which give them many auto problems, unlike the old boxes.
To be fair, I enjoy the Galaxy trips and comfort, plus they seem to drive very well, was thinking about getting one myself, but was dissuaded by a few of the drivers comments.0 -
