pcn for stopping for 11 secs JL Airport

Help, we stopped for 11 seconds at Liverpool Airport, because the car park which we had been to many times before had moved, so to speak, to a different location without any notification. We had to stop on the road to see where it had moved to. When we arrived home from our holiday, there was a pcn waiting for us, I thought it was a scam and ignored it. Two weeks later another demand 100 pounds, which we also ignored. This happened in September 2012, although I am the RK of the car I was not driving the car at the time. I started getting debt collection letters from Roxburgh and Graham White, this went on until I informed them that I was not the driver, they then threatened to take me to court to tell them who the driver was, I refused this information. The letters stopped in June 2013, last week another letter arrived from a different debt collector demanding over 100 pounds within 7 days, or recovery action would proceed, how do I deal with this, I have absolutely had enough of this now.

You let them take you to court, you swear on oath that you were not the driver, you take a fine upstanding person with you as a character reference, a Bishop is ideal, you counter claim for harassment and they pay you lots of money.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

OP this is a pre pofa 2012 ticket, only the driver can be liable, as they don't know who that is they are stuffed. Ignore them unless you get a letter before claim. And in that case please come back here. Who is the new debt collectors by the way?

Please don't pay these vermin, think about it they have had over a year and a half to bring a claim against you, if they had a legitimate charge against you why wait so long? They are just trying it on, and they hope that they do people's heads in to get their demands paid.

So what did you learn from all the dozens of other threads found when using the 'search this forum' heading on page one above the stickies, for that firm as a keyword? This has been covered lots of times on threads. Have a practise at searching this forum rather than staying on this thread thinking this is unique and you are suddenly off to court, LOL! You are not.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
