This is why forum regulars continually help to fight parking companies and will continue to do so.

No. It was a bumped post in "retaliation" to the MSE sticky about PPC's having "pet lips" about the success of this forum in beating them. ;)

IIRC the deferred date for the Cambridge case is tomorrow.

Please could someone explain what the 'Cambridge Case' is and why it is so important? I have just received a PC in Cambridge myself so am keen to know more about this. Thank you.

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

An excellent report which doesn't even mention the "f" word.

Even though bargepole mentioned it in his first post I hadn't noticed the size of this claim. It seems the estimable Ms. Finn may have been deliberately goading SRS, who is now out-of-pocket by the thick end of £1,000! I guess the nags will be on short rations for a week or two!

...and the yacht won't be getting its bottom scraped before the summer.

I surprised not to have heard that the normally voluble Mr R-S hadn't likened the judge in this case to the inestimable Deputy District Judge Lateef (From Martin Cutt's win at Stockport) who he thought, if memory serves, was "...an embarrassment to the judicial system".

I wonder if Mr R-S's seeming disdain for judges who don't find in his favour was ever conveyed to Judge McIlwaine? Perhaps that was why he was summoned to Scun.thorpe?

One really does wonder why SR-S continues to flog a dead horse by putting these matters before judges who can clearly see right through the standard PPC prestidigitation? I suppose he can't be seen not to step up to the plate and support what PE are doing given that he sits on the BPA AOS Board but having to leave the yacht's bottom unscraped. I mean what is the world coming to?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
