Post Office reduce Broadband prices

The Post office have reduced the price of their broadband to £7 for 10Gb or £10 for unlimited. The bad news is that they are putting up the cost of line rental from £12 to £13. The good news is that they have not increased the annual line saver, this is still £120(£10 a month). If you take just the phone line you get a £25 credit on your bill, or a £50 credit if you take phone and broadband. This effectively brings the broadband cost down to £2.83(12 x 7 - 50) for the 10Gb, or £5.83(12 x 10 - 50).

Getting a phone line from the Post Office, that's a bit retro.
Too young for me to have done so, but is it true you had to wait 6 months to get connected in the 70s?0 -
Bearing in mind they resell talk talk, then £10 for unlimited is expensive in comparison with the tt price (£3.50).0
