not correct, the alternative address was not registered with ebay or paypal, therefor I would have exempted myself from buyer protection and would not have been entitled to a refund. I asked on here and later called ebay to clarify this. I believe this was a scam so the seller could have the item back and still keep the money, each time I emailed the seller they gave a different reason as to why they were no longer at the original address. it was al too suspicious as far as I was concerned. You should have returned the pram to the alternative address. Why make it so hard ? Sellers are free to have alternative Returns route etc. Although I can't see the seller getting any money in court, as the seller should have paid to have the faulty item collected / sent back.

well as it developed they send another email to my ebay account so I called our local police and asked them, they have said that as it is an ebay matter that is now going through the small claims court it is a civil matter and they will not get involved, the seller will have to have significal evidence to support that I had the intention of theft for the matter to be considered criminal so not to worry about it at all.Why not pop into your local police station if possible & ask them if in their opinion they would be willing to arrest you for theft?
I feel much better now.
im sorry about the layout and my typing, I really struggle with it, im trying to get better.
thanks for all of your replies. xx

I respectfully suggest that you re-read the Terms & Conditions that you agreed to when you joined eBay.LittleAoife wrote: »I then received a phone call from the seller (they apparently got my number via ebay although I did not give ebay permission to send the my number)
eBay will provide your telephone number, on request, to anybody with whom you share a transaction on eBay.Philip0 -

That may well be, but if you seriously want help then you need to make your ramblings easier to read.0 -
when we went through the resolution centre it asked me to provide a contact number, I gave my mobile. It then had a tick box to give permission for this number to be passed to the seller. I ticked NO?GabbaGabbaHey wrote: »I respectfully suggest that you re-read the Terms & Conditions that you agreed to when you joined eBay.

what is the point of havinf this if they can just give your number out anyway.
if that's the case I am closing my ebay account. I don't want anybody to have access to my phone number on request.
thanks for letting me know this.

thanks, you could had been a bit nicer about it instead of just putting 'punctuation helps.' nobody else felt the need to be rude!theonlywayisup wrote: »That may well be, but if you seriously want help then you need to make your ramblings easier to read.

When you sell or buy both parties have access to the number registered on ebay via the 'find a member' details.
If you don't want a number on file, then delete it.0 -

It was not rude. It was factual. Punctuation helps. I am sure that 'nobody else felt the need' to leave a reply.
If you are dyslexic then I am sure you would be having difficulty in reading that splurge of rambling text too.0 -
You won it for £375 and have essentially paid £300 for it. If the £75 shortfall covers the cost of repair parts, then you have nothing to worry about as there is no way the seller would win in court!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
