Major worry halifax closing my account with overdraft lost please help

Ultimately they can choose who to do business with and can close an account at any time with 60 days notice, regardless of how bad the relationship with you is.
Well as I said loyal customer over 20 years no hassle before but recently different issues one being taking my son to open a child account for saving his pennies and they lost copies of his passport birth certificate etc and could not explain were they went with the application!!!! Raging to say the least with security etc!!!! What I an worried about is the overdraft will they let me repay this and over how long? Any ideas struggling just now and not good time0 -

That could be the crux of the matter - if you've been raging at them, they look as if they've decided enough is enough
It's disappointing that they lost copies of your son's passport and birth certificate, but the reason they need these documents is to confirm his identity. Even for children, they have to be sure that the person named on the account is a real person. If they didn't do this, unfortunately the money launderers and fraudsters would all be opening 'childrens' accounts to do their dirty deeds.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Yes it says as you are not happy with our service etc which over the last year has been shocking can not fault them prior to this I feel that it is now because I am not depositing as much funds as previous
