It has been hard work but it's been a totally life changing experience for us, once we are debt free we will still practice the things we have learned on the journey.

I won't be going anywhere, there are many things we want to save up for so will still be PADding into savings. This thread has truly inspired me and the payment (or saving) a day is one of the habits I will never change.

This has struck such a chord with me even in the short space of time I have been doing it. Getting into the debt we are in didn't happen over night and it is a journey for me and PADding truly seems a way to get out of it with small steps leading to bigger ones once we get more 0% offers and start to be able to move debts around and snowball.

Focusing on making my PAD has stopped me putting stuff on cc that I would normally - as would undo the PAD I had done and make me have to adjust my spreadsheet. It is both becoming a habit to work towards paying things off and a change in how I deal with my money.

Lovely to see how the PAD principle is helping so many people to pay off debts, accrue emergency funds and build savings.

    Way to go Padders xxx

I know that counting down feeling Milky!

Mine is £0.68 to TSB today. Need to check my online banking in the morning (but rescued these pennies from my jeans pocket before they went in the wash) :)
