TTFM I have just really seen your sig for the first time, really taken in the amount of debt you had just over 3 years ago and the progress you have made. You are living proof that no debt situation is insurmountable if you want to do it. It must have been hard work but what an inspiration to do so much in such a short timeframe. I've been getting quite depressed about our money situation as everything seems to be going up - I don't know where they get their ideas of 0 inflation or a recovery from - and a house project that was supposed to be carefully thought out and budgeted for has gone quite a bit over budget but only at the point when it was too late to turn back or stop. However seeing how much you have shifted makes me confident that with a bit (lot!) of discipline I'll soon be back on track. I hope you'll keep posting and inspiring us all even when you've got rid of that last £500.

Totally agree - great post Jetcat :)

Just realised not padded yet today, so to mix it up a bit (and round it up a bit) I am paying £2.02 to TSB today.

Thanks so much flump and jet9cat, you posting that really means a lot. It has been hard work but it's been a totally life changing experience for us, once we are debt free we will still practice the things we have learned on the journey.

I won't be going anywhere, there are many things we want to save up for so will still be PADding into savings. This thread has truly inspired me and the payment (or saving) a day is one of the habits I will never change.
