    £5 for me today please.

I also use online banking to make my PADs.
  • Good morning fellow PADders :hello:

My PAD today is £12 between Lloyds TSB and money box please Erme :T

fewer, better things - I make online payments daily in addition to normal monthly minimum payment. I also make a contribution to our savings whenever I can. I use online banking for CC payments and our statements are generally several pages long with all the small payments showing! Some people save the money each day then make one extra payment per month. Either way it works to making a difference to debt :D

Have a great day everyone :)

Right folks. The least said about yesterday the better :( - it was that bad a day :(....and I'm still tired but onwards and upwards

Newbies you are more than welcome and no question is too stupid :) So ask away :). i'm a huge fan of this thread and yes it really helps :money: and once you get in the way of padding you'll find your hooked. I pad when I get my money - other's pad every day - doesn't matter! I also don't count tithe/charity pads - some do :)

£1.91 to the emergency fund please

also I use online banking and have one overdraft that I send my pads to - can do as and when - and also a savings account which is my (currently very very small) emergency fund. I flit between the two when padding :)

  • Hi Everyone,
I would like to join in please. I am in the process of setting up a DMP and recognise the lovely TTFTM from over on the DMP support thread. When on a DMP with SC, can I make small daily payments to them or is it best to credit the emergency fund? 'd prefer to make payments but not sure how it would work. Thanks lovely people xxx

Hi carlyfarley, it's lovely to see you here :hello:

    Welcome to PADding :D

When I was with Stepchange (then CCCS), I used to make my payments directly to my creditors via online banking, then adjusted my Stepchange balance at the end of the month. If you are concerned about doing this, you could save the money throughout the month and then make a payment to Stepchange once a month. I don't think you can pay them every day but it may have changed so it could be worth asking.

Good Afternoon everyone! Another new week of PADs ahead. :)

    £4.43 for me today please.

fewer better things - I have DD set up on current account for minimum monthly payments. I also have my card account set up as a payee under the 'making payments' facility offered by my online banking provider. So for any extra payments such as PADs, I do each of these manually online.
eg today, sent sale proceeds from fleabay to current account then immediately paid that extra income direct to my card from the current account. It will show up as a faster payment on my card account tomorrow, I check them as they go along, as the list of faster payments can be quite long by the time the statement arrives. HTH.

£1.30 to VERY please Erme :)

Fewer Better Things - as most people on here know I am chipping away at VERY. I have a dd for minimum payment but I log onto the online account and make additional debit card payments each day. I used to save them up over a few days but I like seeing my long statement listing them all and I find it easier to keep track if I make the payment and then post on here.

    Whatever works for you :)

    love flump x
