Can I join please? I won't be posting everyday but I think I will be more successful in my debt reduction if I have some way of publicly recording what I have paid!

Today my PAD is £289.73 ..... £50 to my sister and £239.73 to my loan.

    Thankyou,

WOW fantastic totals for both December and 2014 - I wonder if we can clear the quarter million this year? Thanks to mandz for all your counting and updating.

Thanks Bexidina - my theory is that I should be able to live off my pay so if I've managed to get through the month with all payments made, including PADding any little extras that come my way, then what's left at the end of the month should at least go into the emergency fund, if not off a debt, ready for next time something unexpected comes up which means I can't make it through the month - it's usually not much but better squirrelled away rather than "treating" myself to something I don't need.

Payment made today of £72.82 please milky.

I make myself live on a lot less than my income due to fears of welfare reform. Life is so uncertain. Though I don't challenge myself to the extreme. I am just obsessed with spreadsheets and online banking LOL. I must check these at least once or twice a day and if you don't have any spreadsheets for your pc you can get free ones that will do the job - the link is - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/free-office-software

Really I like Libre Office for making CD covers (origami) but I was fortunate to also get microsoft office given to me :).

Hope I'm not bombarding newbies with tips :( but equally hoping I'm not telling oldies how to 'suck eggs'

Anyhow having looked at holiday season finances I have a PAD today of £30. I now have all the laundry to do after all the holidays LOL and a very sore wrist :(

  • Morning all,

I cancelled my Gym Membership last month, so have put the £29.98 into my savings account this morning so that it isn't wasted.
