Ooo I'm loving this thread. It's quite fun this pad thing. I'm literally only paying pennies into my cc and overdraft, it's just good knowing I am chipping away at it. 60p
    Total pad is £.1.80

Welcome. Doesn't matter how big or small your pad is. Doesn't matter how often either. This thread really helped me with my final bit of debt busting (and I was debt busting for years!!!)
I would love to join in with this, I am going to use this challenge to pay our credit card off (current balance is £999.00!) its the only debt of ours incurring interest so hopefully this will help get rid of it sooner and we can focus on the 0% stuff! x

Sounds brilliant. Good way of thinking :j
    Hiya all
Would love to join you if that is ok. I padded a few years ago and it worked really well, so would love to start the new year with a £6.92pad. That is between Next and my money tub.

Ta to all and a happy new year.
    Dreamer xx

I hope no one minds now but I'm going to repost the link to the snowball calculator for newbies and oldies who have forgotten ;)

    http://www.whatsthecost.com/snowball.aspx

you have to save it or print it off and yes it can change as you pay off debts but is really helpful

This thread doesn't judge, doesn't tell you what to pay and when to pay. You won't get a lecture or a rant for missing a few payments for any reason. We are here to simply PAD and enjoy padding towards our goal. Even 1p a day is £3.65 towards debt over a year that wouldn't have been paid off otherwise. So we really don't mind:)

Hugs to all the newbies and the oldies :)

  • Got my car insurance for cheaper than the ammount I'd set aside for it, so the rest is going towards the debt, with a PAD of £40.25 please :j

Hi all, another £1 to the CC today.

Great post Erme this has always been a lovely, supportive thread. I second the snowball calculator, it's been so helpful for me.
