sorry haven't been around, but things are a bit stressfull here, and basically I am not coping with things...

I have found out over the last few weeks... some cards just don't like playing ball with extra over payments..

m&S... GREAT... along with the 2/3 extra payments that were made over the bank counter, they also took the min payment out too.

Lloyds... any over payments made, get deducted off the min payment ( think I have said this before)

American Express... what I have been doing is gone back to using this, daily, and then paying whatever I spend on it that day, with a bit extra to pay off some of the balance... I am trying to use it like I used to for the cashback..

just tried paying a payment today, and it said I can not make anymore payments off this statement...

don't know what Tesco cc are like, and I haven't started paying extra off that one yet, as no interest is being charged at mo...

Surely... they can not refuse payments????

Cooltrikerchick - I know Tesc* will deduct and extra payments off the minimum DD. You either have to make payments closer to the due dates or fix your DD to higher than minimum to make any inroads with Tesc* Dont know about AE sorry cos never used them.............maybe stop using your AE card like a debit card so then you can pay off the balance?????

The bal on my ae card is approx 350. Think i will phone them tomorrow, and find out how many payments can be paid in any one statement month. Will also find out if i can find extra money from somewhere this week, and see if they will except a whole of balance payment.
