Legoland Windsor

We are looking to visit Legoland Windsor with our kids aged 4 and 6.
Reading through tripadvisor suggests queues are a major issue on busy days.......
We were hoping to visit on the 10th or 11th April. Is this during english easter holidays? Not sure if the english holidays start on the 7th (like scotland) or on the 14th?
Can anyone confirm?
Ideally if the english holidays dont start till the 14th then the park wont be as busy and we will be able to get a relatively stress free visit to the park.

My kids in Worcestershire break up on the 11th. We went to legoland in August last year. It wasnt that busy at all
and the kids loved it. Eating on site was surprisingly cheap, we had a all you can eat pizza/pasta for £5 each, this
included drink and was a great end of day treat for the kids.
Looking at the Windsor local authority site , easter holiays for them is from 7th - 21st April

The best school holiday or weekend time to visit Legoland is when it is raining as the queues are minimal and you get so much done compared to other days. As I always mention you shoudl go about half an hour before the park opens, as they open ticket booths and turnstyles earlier and then run down to the back of the park and do it from the back forwards. Plan to stay right until closing time as a lot of people head home earlier so the park thins out.0

I'm in Reading - only about 45 mins from Legoland and our school holidays start this Friday. If you go when its raining there is no queueing at all and you don't need to worry about getting wet on the water rides.0
