I believe Paypal emails will always have your name rather than just 'dear customer'....?DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0
-
No it's correct, and to save you some time if you send me £10 via paypal and your paypal login details I will do all the steps for you
(if in doubt, do nowt)
What I would do though is take out the hyperlinks you have in your message though, just in case anyone clicks on them0 -
For any email, without even reading it you can right click on it in the list and look at Properties, then the Details tab, which tells you the sender ID and other info, and down the bottom whether the sender ID is confirmed.0

Paypal will always address you with your name. If it was true I would never go thro a link always straight to the website eg via google and check that way . Also if you check the grammar in these e mails you can spot them a mile off.0

I get lots of emails from Paypal telling me my account is restricted, and I need to log into their web site.
The thing is ... I don't have a Paypal account.
So 100% of the emails I get from Paypal are scams. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

As an earlier poster pointed out, PayPal (and eBay) communicate to their registered users by name only. They don't write: 'Dear Member'. Any PayPal or eBay communication that you receive which doesn't have your name on it is from a fraudster (because fraudsters haven't a clue if you're a Paypal or eBay account holder.)
If you want proof of fraud, just let your mouse hover -- hover, mind you: not click -- any of the links you'll see in a "Dear member" message. The data will appear at the bottom of your monitor screen. When you see it, you'll instantly realise that iwant2scamyou.ru has nowt to do with Paypal.0
