Virgin Broadband 9 week issue

I have had no broadband and land line at home for 9 weeks and counting, no assistance or help by Virgin. Any suggestions ?

Well you can't force them to provide service but that is a long enough period to mean you must be free of any minimum term contract enabling you to leave immediately and order service elsewhere. I'd suggest you call and tell them that that is what you are doing and demand a refund for anything you've paid while there was no service. You would obviosly have had to call them and complained at the start of the outage. Thereis a chance they'll claim you didn't.0
