Which sat navs are most reliable for the UK, ROI and Europe? The person this is for wants bluetooth, speed camera display and one which shows buildings in 3d. They would prefer a sat nav which has free updates.
They have a budget in mind of around £150.
TIA

Is there a sat nav which is compatible with an iphone?0

Any modern sat nav can link to a smartphone equipped with Bluetooth. e.g, iPhone or Android. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

See NavFree
Works on phones without needing phone coverage (i.e. no data charges - could be important outside UK)
No 3d buildings though ?0 -

I have one of these - an excellent piece of kit.
However this has now been replaced by Garmin Nuvi 2597 LM which Halfords are currently selling for £129.99 which is cracking value at around £20 cheaper than Amazon.0 -
I'm sorry this does not help you out entirely but "Waze" on the iPhone is a brilliant free navigation app. I used this in Germany too.
This does not require 3G or anything. This is not "3D" though, but it has the option as it makes the map's more real time.Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0 -

They want to be able to connect their iphone via bluetooth to their sat nav.0 -
but why bother with the sat nav unit at all ?
Navfree is free, has free updates and for a small charge speed camera updates, they have a phone so way less than £150
I've probably missed the point somewhere- but what is the benefit of connected a sat nav to a phone via bluetooth ?0 -

They have Navfree on their phone but it isn't accurate on their phone and therefore no use to them. They have an old car which they take out regularly so they want the sat nav for it.
HTH or at least makes sense!0
