So i purchased some beats a while ago(comet). So after a while of using my first pair, there was a buzzing sound in the left headphone where you pop the batteries in. They replaced that headphone and gave me a second one. Again, this had the same problem and i got a 3rd pair. As soon as I popped that crap on my head, buzzing noise is back. I called the customer service and they said its because of the interference between my laptop and my headphones active noise cancelling causing that buzzing sound. Is this right? Should I leave the case at that or try to get this replaced as well? I know this isnt a problem with the new beats by dre (I have the old ones). Thanks for reading g.

Unfortunately you are tied to the terms of the warranty when dealing with the manufacturer. Your statutory rights are against the retailer, so as it was Comet there rights are gone. How did you pay for them?0 -
If you do a Google search for noise cancelling headphones and laptop interference there are many reports of the same thing, and it is not unique to these headphones. There are also various discussions as to how to remedy the problem, worth a read.

I have and the problem sticks. I actually found out that the problem is with the wifi signal from all computers. They seem to interfere with the headphones and cause the buzzing sound. As soon as i turn the wifi off, the noise dissipates.

Also to add, their warranty summarised on their website.
It states that I am able to get a refund on the product.
My main question is, there is a clear flaw in the production of this product that means i cant use the headphones with my computer. Is that enough for me to claim the warranty again?0 -
From their website:
Your warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original retail purchase from authorized Beats dealers. If a defect exists, Beats, at its option, will:- Repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished parts
- Exchange the product with a functional equivalent product that is new or refurbished
- Refund the original purchase price
So as long as you purchased the original pair within two years, then you can ask for a refund but they can chose which option (normally repair or replace) if a refund is disproportionally more expensive for them and they can also make a reduction to the refund to take account of the use you had.0 -

I have indeed, they have replaced it twice for me. They have a refund policy but wont offer it to me. I have tried my beats headphones outside of my house and they still have that problem. However i have tried to use the beats at the apple store, they are a different model but no static noise.0 -
Just to update this, I found out its a compatability issue between the signals coming out of my macbook and the studios. Like i said, ive tried beats 2.0 but the company is refusing to swap my one for those ones as they only trade like for like.
On their website it states the following:

What do you mean an incompatibility between the macbook output and headphones?
I know the list of things macs can't do properly shouldn't ever surprise anyone, but is the macbook really incapable of outputting analogue audio?

I apologise for mis-wording . I meant to say the wifi signal from the macbook pro interferes with the noise cancellation of the beats by dre causing a static sound in the headphones.Is it a debit or credit card?

I think it was a debit or I may have paid this with cash as i did go through multiple transactions, this was when all the rush at comet was going on.From their website:

lol, i did indeed buy an original pair and they are refusing me the refund saying its not available to me.
They've kind of said, !!!! off we cant do anything because its not our products problem but it is, as its 'incompatible' with a macbook which i use to produce music with and to be honest I'm a bit frustrated after coughing up a fair bit and especially when I know for a fact that the beats 2.0 don't have this problem. I've heard it for myself.0
