No buying unnecessary toiletries April 2014

Thanks all. FIL is coming out of hospital today. Unfortunately he has lung cancer so I shouldn't imagine it will be long before he's in there again, he's in his 70's. My auntie died from liver cancer. My bosses wife also has liver cancer and isn't looking too good at the moment and my exes cousin died from liver cancer a couple of weeks ago. It's unbelievable really, it seems to just keep coming!
Anyway, thanks again for all your kind words, I do really appreciate it
I didn't buy anything today which is a small miracle in itself
Hope life starts treating you better soon and well done on keeping that resolve, big hugs sending your way.
Unfortunately my resolve seems to have run off today or taken a holiday, i've got my own cushion and a flask of fresh tea and my bum is firmly on the naughty step for the foreseeable future.
Ins , (None of which were desperately needed)
Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar , one of my all time lush favorites, and i really do try and make it last to justify the cost by only using it on the weekend.
Lush Angels on Bare skin 100g, My HG cleanser i do have others in the house only i've broken out with a very spotty chin of late and i want to reduce the volcanoes from erupting
Radox Cherry blast shower gel 250ml, Smells nice in the bottle not used yet, have also put towards the back of the stash.
S & G Foam Call 500ml & Foamous 500ml, Never actually purchased or been gifted S & G before, so finally given in to trying it. (Was part of a 3 for 2)
Ted Baker London Body wash 200ml (Part of 3 for 2) enjoyed using this when my aunt treated me to it one birthday and i also have some of the matching body lotion to use alongside at home already (placed towards the back of stash along with sealed body lotion)
Boots therapy bubblebath 500ml for the BF to use so he doesn't use my girly stuff. (although i did let him have a comforter bath tonight as hes feeling down in the dumps and he thinks it smells like sherbet)
Oral B Pro expert Toothpaste 75ml I like this flavor and it was on offer plus a 50p boots individual coupon off made it a more reasonable cost.
Nivea 48hr spray deo 250ml placed at the back of stash for when the current ones die.
Tresemme 24 Hour Volume 750ml well it was only 2.49 and i do have only a few different shampoos left, 2 of which are part bottles have i convinced anyone yet :rotfl:
If anyone else feels naughty please bring biscuits for dunking and consoling.

I did thank you FizzWhizz, sadly they had sold out of the matt primer i wanted so had to take the illuminating one and need to swop it in a few weeks when i go back in but the bag is lovely
Enjoy your trip x0 -
Girlybags, thoughts with you. I lost both my FiL and my Dad to lung cancer. It's incredible how treatments have progressed since those days (1977 and 1997).
FizzWhizz, you will probably be pushing out the z's now, but I hope you have a lovely break.
Another PP UU - the Lacura Q10 Daily Face Cream.
WIBA? Definitely, this is just incredible value, 75ml of a good thick SPF 15 cream for £1.49.
I bought an Aldi Lacura SPF30 cream last summer on Specialbuy and I will be using that up next - it's also at least 75ml - perhaps more - so should last for ages. I don't sunbathe as a rule but I do spend time out of doors when I cycle, which I do instead of walking. I wouldn't dream of not using some protection.
Very happy to be using OS shower cream again. For anyone who needs OS shower stuff, it's on offer in Wilko's for £1 at the moment, and not just the usual suspects of lime, lemon, mint and shea butter/honey . Raspberry and vanilla on offer too and a seasonal special of pink grapefruit. Not sure how spring-like pink grapefruit is, but it's there anyway. I am hoping the raspberry and vanilla one sells out before I succumb to temptation.
It smells divine.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
For reference, here is the stuff I got for nowt. See the bag? I have packed ALL my makeup and ALL my skincare for our holiday into that bag. I realise we're only going for five days but even if it'd been a fortnight, I could've squeezed it all in. Feeling very chuffed with myself as I would usually take 4 times that amount, just in case
Alarm is set for 3.30am, I'll be back on Friday, hopefully with a few OUTS to report. Have a good week, all  xx
Ooo that's gorgeous! Have a good time away!
My hols are now t- 3 weeks and 5 days! :j Determined to be ultra-organised and leave on time for once (about 3am hopefully), but I'm wondering what to save for hols, so I'm putting a certain amount of things away that I won't use a whole bottle/tube of in two weeks and don't have more than one mini of, such as toothpaste, face and body scrubs, face wash.......
Yes, I am going to drive myself mad.....then drive myself to Scotland for 7 hours :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Hugs to all of you that need them.
Hope you enjoy your break Fizzwhizz - we are visiting DH next Friday near is current place of work in Wolverhampton. We plan on visiting Dudley Zoo and perhaps Cadburys World, we are also staying near MerryHill shopping centre so there may be ins to declare on my return (if we have any money left after our essential visit to the build a bear workshop).
Hope you have fun restocking your new helmer Maddiemay - the A england I applied on Tuesday evening lasted to its removal this evening with no chips and only minimal tip wear hope you have as much success with your new ones.

Another application of Boots No7 purifying mask - This does the job but there are other masks I prefer.
My skin is misbehaving again i think Ive overdone something as I have dry patches around my nose - ive cracked open some Elemis bliss and have reverted back to the apricot toner and my skin seems to be soothed.
I resisted the Elemis TSV as there is nothing I am desperate for so will wait for an irresistable GWP before repurchasing my must haves for now I will plod on with the stash.
Movement is slow this month but luckily am managing to destash via ebay.No more buying toiletries0 -
I bought my first Helmer today, got the cream one and left the wheels off, i'm replacing my old plastic draws that hold my make up with this, i couldn't use it for my lotions and potions are the draws aren't deep enough but hoping to find one bigger for those, thank you to who ever mentioned it in March's posts x0

I have some uu
No7 Body Butter - WBA and already have another in the stash, I love the smell of this range although I do think this is a cream and not a butter.
BS Almond Nail & Cuticle Oil - WNBA, this was a clicky pen and only contained 1.8ml of product, I used it for my cuticles but don't find oils moisturising for them at all. Have replaced it with a No7 cream type for cuticles which seems really nice.
Avon Hydrate & Grow, WNBA, this was in a lipgloss type packaging and was for cuticles and nails, it was the most utterly useless gel. Complete and utter rubbish.
Also two TA's
2 x BS Burriti Baby Massage Gel - these came in a little set of minis, all the other products were lovely but this wasn't, it was like sticky honey.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

1 UU today (charity shop, actually...)
Just Pink Eau de toilette from Next. I'll use the lip balm that came with it.
I also have 2 started scented body sprays of the girls, what would you do with these??? Don't want to just pour it down the drain - any ideas? The only body spray going on my skin is SoS by Avon against bugsFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0
