Leaving ISP, arranging for arranging for the phone line being transferred out

I moved house and set up with a new ISP who were useless. I have managed to get a MAC out of them, and they told me that it is valid for 30 days and that . . "You will need to arrange for the phone line to be transferred out within the 30 days as well."
I am not exactly sure what that means. I opted for the VOIP service combined with the broadband maybe that is something to do with it?
Do they just mean that i need to change ISPs within the next 30 days (i am looking to do this in the next 48 hours)?

Who do you pay line rental to .
Or where does your phone line come into your existing package .0 -
Would have been simpler if you named the provider...if you are now on an LLU service then you cannot take your broadband from any other provider, so cancelling that will result in the line being cancelled too. Does your tariff only offer calls and broadband, not just broadband?
You will of course be charged an ETC by the outgoing provider if you are still in minimum term.No free lunch, and no free laptop
