Worst case scenario, they can sell their house and buy something cheaper. Its not their debt thats making you ill, its your interfering - back off, stop the £100 quid and live your own life. You'll feel better.!0

Okay how about this:
I stop the £100, and say to them that I will re-instate it after they have spoken to the charity, have an action plan for the immediate and long term future, and have demonstrated they have followed it for 3 months.
Let that safety net drop! Why tell them that you'll reinstate it under certain conditions? Just withdraw it and get on with your life. You can still be support them when they're ready to accept it but in the mean time you can concentrate on you and your wife.0
