Dodgy Pension Trustee

Well, after 5 long years of constant pressure, hassling, chasing people and some other methods best not mentioned. I have finally managed to get around 95% of my money back from the "Harrisgate" incident. Missing the 5 years interest and some admin charges but I will have to live with that.

I hope Mark Harris and his cronies go down for a long time as there was obviously some kind of fraud going on.

My saviour, a letter from Harris to myself, saying that my funds hadn't been invested as they were frozen in a bank account. Obviously when these funds were eventually released for whatever reason, the new trustees had to return them to me on this evidence.

So guys, maybe all is not lost, keep fighting, don't give up hope, keep the pressure on.

This is great news for you. Although still annoying that you have lost some when your money should have been invested to grow.


However, at least you are not waiting on this wretched investment to mature. It seems Harris's incompetence actually helped you!

Apparently the FSCS are now 'doing final quality checks' on the miss selling claim to see if there actually is a claim. :T

Be about another three years then.

Been in touch with the FSCS again and it seems my cynicism in the above post was fully justified. As I expected, despite the 'final quality checks', no end is in sight. I am part of a backlog and no time scale whatsoever can be estimated.
Three years was probably optimistic.



I fully expect to be dead and gone before this whole sorry saga is ever resolved.

Maybe that's what they are all hoping.

There are some more court cases going on regarding liability and decisions have been put on hold pending outcomes.

Are these cases linked in any way to Mark Harris and The Green Pensions, or are they to do with other pensions frauds? Because if they are to do with the scheme I'm in I haven't heard anything.

No. It was about whether the FSCS actually covered these things or not. And there was another one about whether the SIPP manager was liable. It mentioned that cases were being put pending the outcome. It was one of those things that appeared in my inbox and I didnt really read it beyond headline and few lines.

Soon be yet another month gone by and no information forthcoming whatsoever from ANY quarter:


FSCS - How much longer are you going to do nothing and provide no information? Useless.


Green Pensions Trustees - Where is this year's statement? No update since last Dec and no statement since August 2017. Shades of Mark Harris all over again.


Ecoquest - Where is our money? Promised it would mature 31/12/17. Where is it? And where is the interest for the year so far you have had it longer than promised?


Police - No contact for three years. Is there a case or not? Aren't there even the resources to let victims know if there is going to be no case?



- let alone any signs of receiving the pension which was due at the beginning of this year, or any compensation for misselling.



Presumably they all hope we will forget about it. But I will not let this drop.

Time to go back to Action Fraud maybe and have another go at the media.

Now a year since the last contact from Green Pensions Trustees and well over a year since the last statement.
