Note the 4% regular saver is only a 12month deal.
You can open a new one as soon as the old one has matured.

Seems there are gremlins in the system. I have 3 vantage accounts and now had to open the Club account with different login details as the form would not proceed without setting up internet banking. Called up and they could not do anything about it and was asked to go into a branch. Luckly I have a branch nearby - they have taken all the details and said will consolidate all accounts under the orginal login details. Could take upto 24 hours...hopefully everying sorts out tomorrow. Either way not a big deal as I plan to close the Vantage accounts once the rate drops.

Identical problem to me which is still being looked at. I'm still stuck with two ID's. It made the missus create a new ID as well but it consolidated itself when the accounts got created. Someone suggested it may be down to browser cookies but their IT team acknowledged it was a known fault and have had numerous similar reports.
If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.

I currently have a Lloyds "Classic Plus" account where all my banking is done from and am considering this new Club Lloyds account.

If I open one of these new accounts, is it simply a case of:
    1) - add 4k into the account on day 1
    2) - ensure my salary gets paid in to the new account
    3) - move two existing direct debits from my Classic Plus to the Club Lloyds one.

And then the job is done?

1- add upto 5K for max interest
2- monthly need min £1500 going into the account not necessarily as a single payment
    3- yes

Ah yes - I can see that should be 5K.

Sinbad, your DDs must actually be paid monthly per the Club Lloyds account T&C; don't know if that is the case with your existing account but some accounts simply need a DD to be set up - not necessarily paid.
