Hi everyone.
I had my LBM yesterday so in the middle of big stuff and small stuff to do!
Today I got my mobile contract reduced
Talked OH into getting rid of his mobile altogether
His lunch today was from last night's dinner (never do that normally)
Friend owed me £200 which I asked for today instead of leaving it for another couple of months which I was going to do..needs must...
Did not spend any money yesterday or today

Hi there. Welcome Lara - look forward to seeing your additions to this thread each day now you have had your LBM.
Hope that £200 comes winging its way back to you very soon too.
OK so my little bits for the day:
* Got lift home from work.
* Decided against buying a certain something for dinner and substituted it for something cheaper (still healthy though!) and saved myself about £2.
* Did QuidCo searches.
* Piggy comps.
* Took HM lunch to work (however I did have to succumb to a mullerice as well...)
* And the biggest thing of all....didn't quit my job again today :rotfl:Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Evening
Not been about much this last few days but have made a huge effort today
So far:
* used my pre-pay prescription certificate
* used the bus to get into town and home again
* returned 3 tops that I bought on Saturday as I didn't need them
* returned an overdue book to the library and managed to get them to wipe the debt of a few pounds!
* used free minutes and texts to contact my chums/ family
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

Thanks for the warm welcome.
OH is in the process...as we speak...of cancelling his O2 contract which will reduce our outgoings by £25 a month. No more quick jaunts to Tesco or M&S for dinner cos I am bored...there is plenty in the cupboard for tonight's dinner.
Going to get in touch with CCCS as well. Sharp intake of breath needed first but see what they say.
Don't quit your job! And if you do, I'll have it, I need one! :rotfl:lb moment - 3/7/7 :TAmount of Debt - £40k :eek:Proud to be dealing with my debts....but scared sh**less

Usually just read these and don't join in, but hey if no one minds..!
**Took packed lunch and resisted paninis in school canteen
**Made my cat eat Iams mixed with cheaper Whiskas food to eke out the Iams. (Ha, thinks he's so clever, but didn't notice the Whiskas which he usually refusesto eat!)
**Resisted urge to buy expensive magazines in shop on way home.
**Invited friends round to mine for breakfast on Saturday rather than going to poncy italian cafe round the corner for vastly overpriced coffee and pastries
**Used up random food in cupboard instead of going to sainsburys to buy overpriced and usually quite icky ready meal.
Ooh, feel very virtuous now!
Memo to self; I do not need more shoes....::rotfl:0 -

My cat only has Iams but I had to get her some cheaper Whiskers option the other day cos they had run out. Luckily, she ate it.
Bad luck cat, slumming it like your mum now! :rotfl: lb moment - 3/7/7 :TAmount of Debt - £40k :eek:Proud to be dealing with my debts....but scared sh**less

Phoned up for the free Tesco points but they refused as not the policy holder so will get OH to do tomorrow
Done 3 hours overtime
Bought friends birthday present in the sale at BHS. £15 top for £7 - just hope I got the size right and she does not have to take back
