Orange barred calls from my phone - what can I do

I hold my hands up, and due to a brain slide on my part last month, my DD bounced twice. Quite rightly, Orange barred my calls.

I made a payment, via the phone, on 27th June, and received a text message confirming payment, at 2.20pm on that day. The next day, my Orange bill arrived, saying my last payment hadn't been received, and that only this month's charges would be taken by DD on 12th July.

On 29th June, the bar still hadnt been lifted. I went into the orange shop in town to ask if they could help. Very nice man in there spoke to Orange for me, confirmed they'd received the payment, and the bar was lifted. Immediately.

Last night, they barred my calls again.
I went back into the Orange shop again today, but the previously helpful man said they couldn't get involved again, and that I should call Orange.

None of the options from the menu are appliable to "why have you barred me again", and when I tried other options, when it said "wait until we connect you to a Customer Adviser" I immediately got the "calls are barred from this phone" message.

I am unable to log onto my account online (they seem to have put a block on that), and the only email addy available specifically states that they will not reply to email enquiries regarding accounts.

This evening, I used my husband's phone to call Orange and a(nother) helpful man went through my account at their end, initially said the bar was for non payment, but when I said I'd paid and had had a confirmation text message from them, agreed the account was up to date, and said that he would lift the bar immediately.

Six hours later - the bar is still in place.

I'm at a loss now. Is it worth my trying to speak to them again from my husband's phone, or what?

I know the account is up to date, so I don't much feel like ringing a premium rate number to get the bar lifted again, when it's not my fault that it's in place.

Any ideas?

problem is if your ring back now, because its less than at least 24 hours since the guy said he'd lift the bar usually they just say you have to wait until the waiting time for connection is over (24 hours but i have a funny feeling with unbarring it may be 48 hours)
    is your hubbies phone orange?
whereever you ring from dont ring any 08 numbers if you are charged for them 07973100150 would come out of any free mins and takes you to the same menu as if you called 150
when you speak to people get a name and extention number for them and go back to them if another problem occurs,

but they say it can take upto 24 or 48 or whatever it is and when we ring they tell us to pee off and wait for the time to be up before talking to them about it, so irritating
