    Few questions:
    1) Was this England/Wales?
    2) Are you the registered keeper of the vehicle?
    3) Have you received anything through the post yet?

    Who is the parking company?
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Do you live with your Mum, and would she be willing to let you appeal the PCN using her name?

If so then wait for a notice to keeper to arrive through the post (29-56 days time). Then appeal from this (in your mums name as registered keeper) using the template from the Newbie sticky forum.

If your mum doesn't want to be involved then you may have little choice but to just appeal from the notice you have (and identify yourself as the driver). Again using the template appeal.

How did you miss the sticky threads of FAQs & info at the top?

Obviously Mum appeals. This forum's sticky threads already tell you what to do and there's a template first letter.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
