It varies depending on what stage in the week you are at. For example, "this Tuesday" when it is Sunday means Tuesday two days away, whereas "next Tuesday" would mean the week after. On Monday, you'd say "tomorrow" rather than "this Tuesday". On a Wednesday though, this* or next Tuesday could be the same. I've never been confused by any of it though.:)

*Although you'd tend to start saying that from about Thursday onwards.

It doesn't matter what stage of the week I'm on - on Sunday, 'this Tuesday' means 2 days hence, on Monday tomorrow would be 'this Tuesday', on Wednesday the following Tuesday (6 days away) would be 'this Tuesday', the following one (1 week & 6 days away) would be 'next Tuesday'. I'm not confused either (at least, I don't think I am !) I can't help it if other people (DH included) don't agree.

That's the kind of kick up the proverbial I need.
Was that doing it yourself or following some kind of diet?

I was more or less doing it myself, with a lot of assistance from google :rotfl:

Essentially I'd try and keep to under 50g of carbs per day. When I'm doing it, I still get to eat crisps and chocolate, but I'd pick lower carb ones like quavers or high cocoa chocolate.

It takes a lot of planning to start with. You need to eat more protein and higher fat foods. I felt hugely different within about 3 days of starting it :D

    Xmas Saver!
    Evening all
I nipped to b&q earlier for some greenhouse stuff.

A 5ft date palm tree fell into a random trolley that was left there, found its way to the car and into the front seat

It even put its seat belt on :rotfl: :rotfl:

And my debit card jumped into the chip and pin machine and entered my PIN number to allow £20 to be debited from my account ;)

    Damn those tree fairies :rotfl:

My other date palm is called Mike. This one is gonna be Mildred :D

    A good choice :T:j:T
  • Well my first APG experience was a bit off (at best) but still after the voucher I got a reasonably decent shop for £25 instead of £40 & a ton of Nutrigrain for the pregnant Mrs Chicken's handbag.

    A lot more work needed

Thanks for the help today & I'll probably bug you guys tomorrow G'Night
If only batman was here, he'd soon get you told
  • I have heard of economising but this is taking the biscuit..

Huge thanks to miss_corerupted for breaking the Nutri glitch down for me. I won't get chance to get into town until Monday. No doubt the offer will be gone by then but thanks so much anyway for being so kind enough to explain it to me.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

I was really enjoying the elephants programme on BBC2 until the little baby elephant died in front of it's Mom. Feeling right emosh now. Bubbs, Je veux un câlin s'il vous plaît.

you learn by your mistakes, even the experienced Elite make mistakes occasionally, put it down to experience.
You will soon get to grips with it all.

It looks like it's Blueberry and Strawberry (although it's been working on and off). Also Apple, as long as you only get a maximum of one of those (and the total of the non-Apple versions you buy then being an odd number, to make it 2 for £3s across the board).

Apple, strawberry and blueberry all working at 7.15pm today.:j
    Plus £4 victoria sponge.

She's in the greenhouse tonight keeping warm. In the morning I'll unwrap her and take a pic to post on here so everyone else can see what you look like ;)
