My gd is here soon , and for todays play ....am going to do (if I can )
whistle with the blade of grass read on here yesterday ....led astray by the Elite ...lol.. and after some painting , I am going to show her bubbles blown by hubba bubba chewing gum and take it out put it around my finger and twirl it ...am sure she will love it ...not too sure the parents will......... but that's what grandma is all about ...fun ...followed by ice cream with a whole flake in one hand and ice cream in the other ....then if we have time we will make jam tarts

Sounds like what I am planning with my grandson next time we have him :D Hadn't thought of the hubba bubba one, not sure if he will manage that yet as he is not yet 4, but it is certainly going down on the drive the parents mad list :D Also planning on taking him across the woods in the summer and letting him climb trees and get covered in mud :D That's what childhood is about!

    Good morning Elite

Super sunny morning here in Suffolk
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Absolutely! The first birthday present I bought for my grandson was a nice loud drum, he loved it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

There was one time when my son managed to get so filthy I actually hosed him down before I let him in the house - I am aiming for that :D

My mum used to buy me pretty girly dresses but I ripped them so often playing football and climbing trees she soon gave up hope on having a girly girl and sent me out in the cheapest tracksuit bottoms she could find

So lovely, but a b@gger to pack & bring home since the rules about liquids!!

My last one was in a bog standard two litre water bottle. I bagged it up and wrapped it in a towel and hoped for the best :rotfl:

Thankfully it was intact when we landed :D
