My dad used to take me out clothes shopping, and apparently anytime we went near any girly dresses I'd have a full on tantrum :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. That was me too, spent most of my early years up treesSeveral times I fell out face first onto stinging nettles too  I often wonder how I never broke a bone! Almost fetched the swing in our garden over once because I insisted on going right round on it. Might also have had something to do with having an older brother as well as a younger brother, I could always keep up with them
I can be "a lady" if needs arise, but I think my parents gave up on the idea of me being a girly girl when I was fairly young :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Good morning everyone
Hope all is well.
Underperky and enterprise you both sound like fab grandparents:j. My mum is always doing mental stuff with lil stink and I wouldn't have it any other way.
It's a beautiful day here so far, we are gonna have a lazy morning watching monster trucks and building train tracks then I think we will go for a bike ride down by the river.
No shopping today if I can help it.Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Morning all. Off to get my C&C from a's soon for chops, ham, veg, etc. . Wonder how long I will have to wait for my apg today. hopefully not the 12 hours like the other day.
Daughter arriving from Sydney later for a month visit :j:j:j:j . Will make Pork Casserol in the slow cooker to welcome her home
Shes been patiently listening to me going on and on about my new(ish) hobby of getting the glitches, so hopefully will be able to show her a few while she is here0 -

Hadn't thought of the hubba bubba one, not sure if he will manage that yet as he is not yet 4, but it is certainly going down on the drive the parents mad list
Also planning on taking him across the woods in the summer and letting him climb trees and get covered in mud
That's what childhood is about!
lol))))
