I think the most APG shops I have done at one time (in one trolley) was 6 against 3 competitors, though quite a while ago - I wouldn't recommend it though as keeping track of which shop was against which (particularly after the landslide in the trolley ) was stressful :o.

I normally stick to four now in a big trolley - some suggest using hand baskets in your trolley to separate the shop.

Depends on whether they will accept multiple Giftcards for the transaction (no reason why not if instore but could be a pain online or on the phone).

JL, will allow you to use gift cards to purchase gift cards, so you could put all the single £25 cards onto on gift card, so when you argue for them to price match you do not have to bring out loads of cards!

    But what about the cake?

Tiny, if you use your JL cards aren't you guaranteeing you can continue to get free cake?

Thought I read it somewhere about them requiring you to spend a certain amount in a certain period? Not sure as unfortunately don't have an JL near me.

    Might be worth considering?

How do you get them to do them in the right order on the same day??? I'm interested in this savings talk but getting confused atm lol

I just log into one account online - transfer the money into another. Then, soon after (it can be instantaneous these days with faster payments), I log into that other account (the one I've just transferred to) and make a transfer onto the next account. And so on.

I've done it manually this month. I did have a regular standing order set up to transfer from my Halifax to my Nationwide (£1000 per month) - salary went into my Halifax at end of the month (thus being the £750 trigger for the Halifax) and then gave it a few days to transfer into the Nationwide £1000 on about the 4th day of the month (me being cautious just to make sure it was there to move). Well as this is now the last month of my Nationwide, I've stopped the transfer from the Halifax. How I did it this month was the regular standing order I let that continue and do its transfer, then logged into Nationwide on the same date (it normally goes at 2am so I was fine just waiting till in the day of the same date to do it), saw the money was in Nationwide and then did an immediate transfer back to Halifax (thus getting the £750 for them this month, as my salary won't go into Halifax at the end of this month (April)) - it was actually £1000 I transferred back, so onwards and upwards £500 to each of two TSB accounts.

You could have a series of standing orders on consecutive dates and it would eventually work through, over the course of a week say (depending on how many accounts you have). Or you could have enough money already in the accounts to pay out just before they received money in on the same date (if it went the other way automatically), or could do each manually, logging into your online accounts and transferring one to the other to the other. Or, if you do it properly?, if you are allowed to, maybe the payment between your accounts could be set as a direct debit payment (to yourself, in your other account) so it qualifies itself as one of the two DDs needed for some of the accounts?

    There you are, Chapter 2.:rotfl:

Once you have kids, you won't have any money until.... I have no idea mine are grown, and are still costing me a fortune! But you will be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams in a totally different way x
