I wish, Me and my son REALLY want to but we haven't got £18.
    Are you watching?

YouTube or Daily Motion it tomorrow night and it should be on there. I know it's not the correct thing to do, but WWE upload Raw and Smackdown on YouTube, so it can't be that wrong can it?

I only watch it once in a blue moon so I am not willing to part with that amount of money either.

Who do you reckon will win the main belt? :D:D:D

PS. Can someone go to work on my behalf tomorrow please? I'm having a nervous breakdown at the thought of it. Booohiss.

I phoned First Direct earlier this afternoon to see what accounts were looking worth a punt - they sugested the 6% savings account but said I could only save a maximum of £300 per month over a year. And I could only have one account running. I will probably go for that but I was really looking for a half decent rate on a lump sum of £5/£6000 - don't want another cash isa as the rates are rubbish. I will need to search about a bit more.

    I heard a call......

    :rotfl:

Nationwide FlexDirect pays 5% on balances of up to £2500.

TSB Classic Plus pays 5% on balances of up to £2000 (you can have 2 accounts).

    So that's £6500 sorted @ 5%.

    :D

    Enjoy.

Could your other half open one too?

Could you have another current account(s) and just have money rinsing and repeating around them.

    :):):)

I was just thinking that DH could open a 6% account as well he banks with lloyds but I expect he could just have a savings account with First Direct - will phone them tomorrow. I reckon another bank account would work well if I can find one that gives a decent joining cash back.

Evening Elite! Currently catching up on 80 pages from the last few days whilst enjoying my first day off in over 3 weeks :) I hope I find you all well and hugs to those that need/want them.

Yesterday I made a few things for an indie market...

    10 x chocolate cupcakes
10 x lemon and coconut cupcakes
10 x apple, cinnamon and vanilla cupcakes
16 x puff pastry apple danishes
60 x sugar and cinnamon coated mini doughnuts
12 x giant peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies.
40 x lucky dip sweetie bags

... which literally cost me pennies to make, so as a thank you for the elite for helping me fund my baking addiction, I've donated to both charities posted in relation to the grand national. Cheers!

If that's your case....why not recommend DH to First Direct?

Ask FD to send some invitation cards to your address. Put his details on the card for recommending him to open a 1st Account.

He'll then get an application pack; but he can also apply online.

Once his account is up and running he'll get £100 and you'll also get £50 for the recommendation. You'll both then have access to FD's 6% regular saver.

Remember to drip feed the money to maximise on savings.

    :)

For more information on drip feeding, have a read of this: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-regular-savings-accounts#dripfeed

Hi Tweets. How are you? I would rather feed hungry mouths than re-house folk! What's on the menu tomorrow? Starving already. Hahaha.

Hope you have had a good weekend.
