What deal was this Anon?
Have you got a link please?
Sorry for the delay. The new O2 Refresh splits your monthly fee into airtime and phone plan. You can pay off the phone plan and then, if you choose, can cancel the airtime without penalty.
In early March (3rd, a few hours only as sold out quickly!) they briefly dropped the phone plan to £10 per month on 64gb and 32gb iPhone 5 with an upfront fee of £49 or £29 respectively on the £28 per month tariff. Sign up, get phone - unlock (free), phone to pay off phone immediately and cancel airtime within your 7 day cooling off period.
I went for the advanced option - £126 advertised Cashback on TCB too but their tracking played up that day and now waiting for the Cashback claim before cancelling (so cost a few months at £28 but should still be quids in!). Normal Cashback paid in near 3 weeks so normally your exposure would be 1 month max if it tracks properly - one luck blighter reported their phone arrived Tuesday, Cashback paid Wednesday, cancelled Thursday. I was not so lucky, mine should be £289 plus a couple of £28 monthly fees minus £126.
Contract is currently £15 minimum per month on the phone plan so not as good, but keep your eye on their refurbs as other phones have appeared on this deal (HUKD Mobiles Deals board is worth monitoring).
I didn't mention at the time as sold out before I could mention. Last June it was the iPhone 5 16g refurb for £240 (£10 per month x 24).

Good morning everyone,
I hope you are all okay.
I've been struggling to find time to shop or post lately. I just thought I'd say hello before disappearing for a while again.
We've been trying to sell our house for a couple of years with no luck so we are going to let it instead. We found the perfect house for us to move to so made an offer but then I found out I was going to lose my job.
Luckily I started a new job last week (smaller salary but with a big Asda and Tesco Extra within walking distance:j ). On the down side I'm only allowed to use the internet for business reasons so I'm going to find it hard to keep track of any glitches that you wonderful people keep finding.
My luck must be changing though as the two horses I picked in the office sweepstake were the winner and runner up.
Good maybe you can change your sig now lol I always feel sorry for you when I read it0 -
