HI all not read for a few days so about 70 pages behind
am looking for some advice, have a booked a holiday but haven't took the travel insurance with thomsons, have looked around and checked out a few recommended sites but if there was an act of nature such as ash cloud again or a sand storm ( that stops flights) they don't cover it.
have tried flexicover who were the cheapest but they have poor reviews should u need to claim. (they also don't cover acts of nature)
don't know what to do any1 ever bought n used cover could recommend have looked on the travel thread. plz know how amazing u all are.

Will everyone strangle me if I put my score here?

OK, so I got 100%, but I have always been very good at spelling :D

Although one of the words I got because I had got it as a 9 letter word on Countdown (at home, not been on the show) love playing that at home:D. And most of those choices are way too easy :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I got 100% too ;)

I would have looked a bit silly if I'd not, given the job that I do :rotfl:

On Wednesday I did a CC order for the soap powder at Asda. After a bit o 'discussion', staff agreed to let me have it at the £2 price - but I had to agree to the £5 price, collect the order and then wait for a refund of the difference. They said they would arrange the refund and I would get an email to confirm the refund.

Its 48 hours now and I haven't had a refund so I checked with my card company. Asda haven't even taken the full amount yet - there is only a 'pending' transaction for the order at the £2 per box price.

Its the first time I've done a CC order and was expecting it all to go through the credit card quickly - can I assume that Asda are usually this slow and a delay is normal ?
