Dakota.
You are kind and caring. You have many friends and love making new ones! Your more of a follower than a leader, but you won't let people push you around. You will do your best to make people happy and will never hold a grudge. You have a heart of gold.
Morning all.
Sounds about right.:A0 -
When my girls were younger I have been known to put the pencils away in colour order.
The drain cover one I found the most annoying. :eek:0 -
Morning everyone, yes I am still here, sadly no return phone call yesterday - not that we care really;)

At least the sum of knowledge is increased, we now now that we can go anywhere with half a days notice and that there are 2 straight through trains at 6 at night and 6 in the morning with no changes so that saves lugging suitcases on and off.
The house is clean and tidy anyway, all laundry done as I did it all yesterday, everything up to date so I can do some comps until this fog lifts.
Ive been watching the defra air pollution map and today all of the UK is green and yellow, levels 1 and 2 in which case why have we got this thick blanket of wet fog yet again this morning
Yesterdays map was very dramatic, eldest child and her BF were driving from green and yellow Yorkshire to the south east and into Defra levels 8, 9 and 10 - looked dreadfull“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

My c+c from yesterday didn't go exactly to plan, lol!
Have the Chappatti gone down in price at Tesco or something as I didn't think they compared quite as low as 2 for £1.66? The £1.66 was in red as well so Tesco must have a multibuy on whatever product mistakenly compares!
14 items (9 different) on your bill qualify for comparison
Tesco+£3.13

2 x Gillette Mach 3 Shave Gel - Close and Fresh (200ml...£3.00£6.00 Comparison total (compared products only)£20.28£17.15
For some reason the Hula Hoops multibuy that doesn't show on the receipt didn't work(2 for£5) and I got charged £7.40, I phoned up when I got home and they refunded me the cost of the Hula Hoops, I was most suprised because I was just expecting the difference to be credited! Also I still got APG 0f £4.85, would have been more if I had resisted trying out the shaving gel!
The price of £1.66 for 2 chapatti in T is odd. MSL/MSM says they are 2f£1.50: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Indian_Cuisine/ASDA_Chapatti_400g.html
Obviously not that big a deal given they are probably comparing to plain chapatti wraps rather than ready meals, but still a strange amount.
It's only a game

Thank you Enterprise. I have been on the 'thread' since the original beginning of it, so may have worn my welcome out.

You most most certainly have not, I've been here quite a few years myself, sometimes things people put on here just come out wrong, you know that. Are you feeling alright? What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Think with the
David. is pleased to see you back MKS.
Did you have a good time on your holiday?
Thanks TS.
Yes, I did, thanks. Bought loads of stuff back for DGC etc (and Timberland boots and 2 x shoes for DD's OH for about £86 would have been about £340 here:eek:) mostly packed in one case. Waited ages for it too arrive at Gatwick and thought that it had been 'lost'. Eventually turned up, worse for wear. Reported it broken and was given a number to call. Called them on Tuesday, case collected on Wednesday, they phoned on Thursday to say that they would replace it. New case arrived on Friday. Although it was an inconvenience, I cannot fault the service.0 -

See!!:D:D Those rectangular ones in A at £2.68 were a rip off!!:p (Even if I fell for one myself:eek:.) Whether they are rectangular, square, in a heart-shape or whatever, it makes no difference at all to me - a heart one (or two:D) would have done just as well - and possibly even more well for some recipient! There they are - or were - the Ferrero 1p items! It would seem (indeed does seem) bizarre to me to not go for one type of Ferrero simply because it is heart-shaped and thus 'not the same' as a rectangular one. To me, the 1p heart one has the same purpose and meets the same need - so, definitely would have suggested the 1p hearts!
See!!:D:D (With allusion to that video I posted a link to somewhat earlier - the New England Asperger lecture - with very humorous content/presentation style - "See...!! He agrees with you!:p" When in fact he was just saying that and really, from tone of voice, meant something else:wall::rotfl:)
I hope my 'told you so' approach is taken in the humour it is being intended in here - I may sometimes play up for the 'cameras' on here and exaggerate for deliberate effect! And sometimes I'm just that way:rotfl:.
It just goes to show how much we get ripped off and tricked into paying more for something just because of how it looks or is packaged, when underneath it is no different to a cheaper product.
To 'win' in the shopping wars, you need to be patient and vigilant, and then stock up when a good deal comes along
I will take this opportunity to again thank Savvy (and the rest of the super-glitch-finders) for all their time and efforts in helping us to shop smartly, wisely and in the best spirit of MSE :beer:0 -
Where did that come from MKS? Don't be so silly David. was just playing with you. If you have worn your welcome out then I definitely have too. :rotfl:
Said very tongue in cheek, TS.
Have a lovely time with Teeny. I bet she's grown quite a bit by now. My youngest DGS is now six months old, doesn't time fly?0
