I have run out of stuffing, doing chicken for tea, and have run out. Going to have to pop to local shop and get paxo, rather than smartprice

Unless you have breadcrumbs in the house, an egg, dried sage - ???? I make my own as I don't like wallpaper paste stuffing :)

Mind you OH insisted on going to Spar for over priced peas - he thinks they are the only veg. Mind you he did a few other bits as well to compensate and if we had gone to Aldi we would have spent a lot more ...

  • Speaking of wombles there was a huge one blowing in the wind this morning while I waited for my C&C. I was really tempted to jump out of my car and go after it but it was near the smoking shelter and several staff members were there so I left it, such a waste  I wonder if anyone here would have run after it in front of all the staff :rotfl:

yep, but the longer the receipt, the less chance of getting anything back ;)

I have just been and the Dishwasher Tablets were gone but there were plenty of the Harpic and Domestos toilet edge hanger things.

Couldn't find any Cadbury Egg biscuits or even a space where they may have been.

Also got 3 packs of McCoys but check dates on packs. Most were out of date but I found some which were still in date until 19/04/14. Not that dates bother me personally but I know some people stick to them.

No dw tabs, empty space where the 20p toilet hanger things had been.
Bisto Beef/chicken stock pots rtc 53p from £2 something

Ooh my, where have you left him - is he at Leavesden Studios? That's just up the road from me.

    Morning all.

Nah it was on a innocuous looking estate near the dreaded Dome roundabout, but close enough. Fascinating workshop though :)
I hate London. When I was a teenager I got an interview at the FO in London, went up there by train all excited, stepped outside the station and all of a sudden there was this wall of noise and the air tasted wrong. I was terrified, and I'm afraid I chickened out, I called them to say I could not attend, turned round and went home. Never regretted it, don't think I could ever work in any big city.

I know what you mean, I have a love/hate relationship with London hence why I take a lot of jobs out of it. I had a scary moment last Friday/Saturday, my job ends up in Soho every night and there was a bunch of guys lingering around my workplace at 3am and one of them asked if I would like to hold his male chicken. I not so politely told him to 'do one' and he became a bit aggressive. Luckily an ambulance was nearby (well not so lucky for the drunkard on the floor who'd been hit by a rickshaw) and one of the paramedics warned him off.
Grrrrr, what masochist created level 534 in candy crush

Agreed, that level is  it gets worse but better. I'm on 545 now :D
